Journey Back to Spanish Land

I need to get practicing my español. Here's my project: Read in Spanish and write something about it. Usually in Spanish. I'll mostly be using my old texts from Spanish classes in college, starting with the Vistas y voces latinas (Third Edition) by Levine and Montross. It was a required text in one of classes, but I don't think we touched it more than once. So here goes....
